Phase 2B of the Wornington Green regeneration will deliver more than 230 new homes, along with  new shops and landscaping. 

This forms part of the wider regeneration of Wornington Green, which will ultimately provide over 1,000 homes – nearly 600 of which will be affordable.    

Our construction partner, Bouygues UK, will deliver 108 social rent homes, 11 shared ownership homes and 111 private sale homes. Along with the new homes, phase 2B will include, underground car parking, commercial units and improved green space. 

Bouygues UK began constructing Phase 2B of the regeneration in August 2022, following demolition works carried out by Greater London Demolition.  

The first residents are expected to move into the new homes in autumn 2024. 

Following the completion of the first new homes, the existing Watts House block will be demolished and the third phase of Athlone Gardens will be completed.

We enlisted the help of London-based art and design group Urban Eye to create a new and vibrant community mural for Portobello Road. 

Urban Eye worked with schoolchildren at Bevington Primary School to prepare seven eye-catching designs, and residents were given the chance to vote for their favourite.  

The winning design will be installed by Bouygues as part of the Phase 2B works.
